That's all, I have to say after reading
through this article, looked unsuspecting from the outlook, posted on NDTV website (again where
else should you have possibly expected to find it, really?)-

Yes, the article is meant to be analysing
if the call for Priyanka's entry into full-time politics is coming from CONgress
or the Media (where the author belongs), but in the guise of this analysis, the
author is so smartly pushing for a self-serving agenda of promoting yet another
scion of the Nehru-Gandhi clan. A surreptitious attempt at confusing the reader into
believing that bringing Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at the helm of the affairs, may be the ONLY option left for a battered CONgress.
And ofcourse, doesn't it answer the tagline as
to who really wants Priyanka?!?
Yet another reason why we should know the author before imbibing any such
seemingly independent public opinions!! Thanks to Social Media, most of us have
been enlightened about the hidden motives of this compromised tribe!! Also, we are
aware that - for such authors, there’s absolutely no life/ means of earnings
beyond Gandhis.
Let's go through a few excerpts of this
article, and try to understand the manner in which this veiled recommendation
is being made:
1. "It
appears that the media is more interested in the dynastic succession in the
Congress party than the so-called dynasty itself. So far, Priyanka Gandhi
herself has said nothing specific about her desire to directly enter politics
full-time. Her mother, Sonia Gandhi, has merely said that" Priyanka will
decide what she will do" when asked about the future."

party was so totally demoralized that rank-and-file activists as well as
the leaders of the party were looking for a rescue ship. It was like panic on
the sinking Titanic."
So how does the author want to portray
Priyanka here? – Just
like mother-India Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka looks to be carrying forward the legacy of a larger-than-life persona (So what if a trusted family insider for long, has already rebutted even this
tall claim of Gandhis?) Going by author's way, Priyanka seems to have no
personal ambitions / greed for power and if at all she has to enter politics,
she would do it against her will, perhaps for an invisible "calling for
THE NATION" or "in trying to be the ultimate LIFE SAVIOUR of the
PARTY with a strong lineage", like her GRANDMOTHER, FATHER, MOTHER did!!
Sounds convincing?!?!
But, just when one starts reflecting on
what, if anything worth mentioning, this 42+ yr old politician and a fortunate
bearer of GANDHI SURNAME has done all her political/ social life, many of us would throw this piece of trash to its rightful place called dustbin and move on, but a few of us would read further to have some more fun. Yeah, she infact did something well to remind us of the fact through her public outburst declaring - "I'm the daughter of RAJEEV GANDHI", and that too while
campaigning in the sure shot bastions of her dynasty, which the article btw also highlights !! Her idea of politics and the will to do something for country is confined to making guest appearances in Amethi and Raebareli !!
This ordinary piece of journalistic creativity, thus, without much scope of a doubt, is just another attempt by the popular author to go on with his motivated campaign,
designed to create a halo around this lady, with a single aim of maintaining this
rotten Gandhian eco-system in which he and crony journalist of his tribe, a handful of crafty
politicians and other such beneficiaries continue to thrive.
Let's move on to yet another claim !!
2. "Indeed, the panel punditry on all
TV channels has given her the thumbs up."
Looks like the JURY is ALREADY out, and
Priyanka seems to be the NEXT BIG THING TO LOOK FOR in the Indian political
arena!! Isn’t it??
Now that's an art, and ofcourse old guards
of the likes of Ketkar have acquired masterly skills to practice the same! To
clear the air, someone should pose a single question, if Mr. Ketkar could tell
us which all esteemed and ofcourse "CONpromised" journalists comprise
this so called "PANEL PUNDITRY"?
Ketkar and likes, still continue to believe
that readers could be played around by making unsubstantiated claims. CONgress
drubbing in the latest polls seems to have taught them NOTHING. Despite so many
revelations in the social media, do you expect readers to be still looking upto
a panel of the now popularly called as Sickular liberal journalists, who are
being exposed one after another (Radia tapes et al) for their compromised
writing, loathsome lies, and continued concoction of facts?

Ofcourse Gandhis carry a magic wand! And,
but for the sins and blunders of Manmohan Singh’s Govt, even Rahul Gandhi would
have done it for CONgress in the last polls !! Poor Boy is he?!?!
Know what, it smells of utterly obnoxious
sycophancy to say the least. Because, as per author, it seems that it’s ONLY
and ONLY in DYNASTIC capacity to bring a remarkable turnaround (doubts if any
such thing is possible at all) in the fortunes of CONgress today. But, can one
stoop to such a laughable level in making this revelation that Mr. 44+ year
YOUNG Rahul Gandhi didn't get MUCH OF A CHANCE and had to carry the albatross of
all the wrongdoings of [Manmohan Singh] Govt all along, and that it was a sheer
bad luck for the YOUNG Gandhi to deserve such a platform? I’m sure that not
even a staunch GANDHI’s STOOGE would be able to nod convincingly in agreement.
Would urge the author to look at Mr. YOUNG Gandhi’s attendance record in the
LAST 10 years in PARLIAMENT and then perhaps analyse his will and acumen to
take such a responsibility in the first place!! He isn’t unlucky, but plainly
inept at even being a front for any regional party leave alone CONgress (though it numbers just beyond a regional party in LS).
And that’s how, Mr. Ketkar, in his desperation, looks to be making a compelling case for Priyanka’s rise within the party, while at the same time wanting to sound like an
INTELLECTUAL.
Ofcourse, they are called "Intellectual Morons" for nothing.
